My name is Steve and I am the owner of Scissortail Rod Company. Under the SRC banner, I build handcrafted bamboo fly rods for fishing smaller streams and rivers. Handcrafted from select Tonkin bamboo, every rod is built entirely by hand—split, planed, and finished with care—using time-honored techniques that ensure exceptional performance and timeless beauty. With a deep respect for craftsmanship and a commitment to quality, I strive to create rods that are as unique as the anglers who fish them.
